Dr. Ashley Tarasen is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Pathology in Dermatopathology, Anatomic Pathology, and Clinical Pathology. She serves as the Medical Director for PathMD and Wulf Hess and completed her Dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. With extensive experience in diagnosing complex skin diseases, she is dedicated to providing accurate, timely diagnosis that guide effective patient care.
Originally from California and the U.S. Virgin Islands, Dr. Tarasen trained under renowned dermatopathologists and served as Chief Resident at Albany Medical College. She has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and presented at major national and international pathology conferences. Based in Los Angeles, she is passionate about skin cancer prevention and ensuring the highest quality dermatopathology care for patients nationwide.
