Biography
Dr. Bizhan Bandarchi is board-certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology, Dermatopathology, and Cytopathology. He serves as the Medical Director and Co-Owner of American Specialty Laboratory (ASL), an anatomic pathology laboratory based in Southern California. With over 20 years of experience, he brings deep expertise in dermatopathology, cytopathology, and molecular diagnostics.
Trained at prestigious institutions including Harvard Medical School, Yale University, and the University of Florida, Dr. Bandarchi also served as an Assistant Professor of Pathology at the University of Toronto. Currently, he is a Consulting Dermatopathologist at UCLA.
Dr. Bandarchi is widely recognized for his commitment to delivering accurate and timely diagnoses that directly impact patient care. Working closely with clinicians, he ensures every pathology report contributes meaningfully to better health outcomes.
