Biography
Dr. Kittane A. Ranganath is board-certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, as well as Dermatopathology. With over five decades of experience, he has served as a Staff Pathologist and Director of Anatomic Pathology at the Wadsworth VA Medical Center in Los Angeles and has been a longstanding Assistant Clinical Professor of Pathology at UCLA Medical Center. Since 2014, he has been providing dermatopathology services at American Specialty Laboratory (ASL), delivering accurate diagnostic interpretations for complex skin conditions.
Trained at St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee and with academic appointments at institutions in India, Canada, and the United States, Dr. Ranganath is widely respected for his contributions to pathology education and research. He has published multiple peer-reviewed articles and presented extensively on pulmonary, urologic, and gastrointestinal pathology. Based in Los Angeles, Dr. Ranganath remains dedicated to supporting physicians and improving patient outcomes through precise and timely pathology diagnoses.
