Biography
Nicole Askar is the Director of Operations and Co-Owner of American Specialty Laboratory (ASL), an anatomic pathology laboratory based in Southern California. With over 20 years of experience in laboratory operations and management, Nicole oversees ASL’s mission to deliver accurate, timely dermatopathology services by board-certified dermatopathologists. Under her leadership, ASL has become known for its rapid 24-hour turnaround, advanced histology and immunohistochemistry services, and personalized support for physicians and their patients.
Before co-founding ASL in 2013, Nicole served as National Operations Manager at Omnipath Diagnostics for a decade, where she gained extensive expertise in laboratory workflow optimization and client service. She is dedicated to ensuring that ASL consistently provides high-quality pathology services that meet the needs of physicians and improve patient outcomes.
